Overview

ServiceNow Engineer I responsible for maintaining and developing critical platforms across campus, focusing on ServiceNow platform development and administration.

Responsibility

Design solutions within the ITSM platform environment

Maintain, develop, configure, and administer ITSM platform environments

Develop, code, and test solutions and enhancements

Perform technical analysis and limited requirement gathering

Assist in maintaining other departmental priorities

Translate application functionality into technical solutions

Perform operational and maintenance functions

Provide mentoring, tier 3 support, and demonstrations

Requirements

Master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or related field with 2 years of advanced programming and database experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience

Strong background in UI design and technical analysis

Extensive experience with enterprise ITSM platforms like ServiceNow

Strong software development and programming skills, including JavaScript

Ability to programmatically integrate different systems & services

Excellent understanding of ITIL principles

Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills

Certified Administrator or Developer in major ITSM platform
